I like others, have been drawn toward Funeral Directing through a personal bereavement. Our family was so well served by a long time friend who was a ‘long time’ staff member of Davis.

My employment journey started with 29 years as an aircraft engineer, 3 years with Davis’s, then 2 years in pastoral care with the Salvation Army. My wife Caryn and our teenage children Tim and Meg worship there, and it was a privilege to serve people, with my work taking many forms.

Funeral Directing has however a very special edge to it for me, so it is to this and Davis’s I have returned in 2010.

As a family man, my free time is consumed by teenage banter, trying to keep fit and church and family activities.
