I left to wander the world with nothing more than a backpack – travelling extensively for 4 years through Central and South America, Asia and Africa. Finally I settled in Nantucket Island, Massachusetts for 2 years. In 1990 I returned to New Zealand to embark on a new career in the family business.

Upon commencing work at Davis Funerals I became the 5th generation of the Little family to work in funeral service. I hold a Diploma in Funeral Services completing an Embalming Certificate in 1993 and the Funeral Directing Certificate in 1996. The past 18 years have been very rewarding.

I am a devoted father to Cameron, Nicolas and Joshua who attend Sacred Heart College and St Michael’s Catholic Primary School. I spend as much time as possible following their various sporting activities and have passed on to them my love of the outdoors.

I enjoy all manner of water sports including diving, sailing, wakeboarding and fishing. I love mountain biking in Woodhill forest with the boys and have recently introduced Cameron to the world of diving. We spend our summer at Ohama Beach and love exploring the North Island camping.

Since Cedric’s retirement in 2007 I have relished the opportunity to lead Davis Funerals into the future with Neil, finding the position of Managing Director both rewarding and challenging.
