I was born and raised in Dunedin, a “mainlander”. I entered the funeral profession in Oamaru in 1994, working in a small rural funeral home. In 1997 I moved to Auckland to further my career in the funeral industry and have experienced what it is like to be part of a large city funeral home since coming to work for Davis Funerals.

While working with the company I am proud of the qualifications I have attained: the National Certificate in Funeral Directing and a current Practising Certificate, both of which enhance my skills as a Funeral Director. I feel I bring empathy and understanding to my career and enjoy guiding people through what can be a traumatic time for them.

In early 2008 I became the Branch Manager of our Pakuranga funeral home and now live in the Pakuranga area. I am enjoying getting involved in the local community and find East Auckland an attractive and pleasant place to live.

I have travelled extensively overseas and it has made me realise how great “home” is. In my free time I love to listen to music, especially Dido & Grace Jones and easy listening relaxing music. I am also partial to red wine, good food and great company.
