I was born in New Zealand. When I was four my mother and I left NZ to live in Australia, where I grew up. While living there I had work experience in a rest home which I really enjoyed.

In 2005, I returned to Auckland where my father and step mother live. I attended Green Bay High School and attained NCEA Level 2 qualifications.

My father is a unit manager in the film industry and my step-mother is a 2nd Assistant Director. I was lucky enough to be able to do some work in this industry, and one of the things I have done has been body double work.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to gain some work experience with Davis Funerals when I was 16 and very quickly realised that this was the industry I would like to work in. I have also been privileged to be trained by the very professional embalming team here at Davis’s. I find every day is different, I feel that I am able to help families by presenting their loved one in a way which helps them come to terms with the death, and the experience is a very rewarding one for me. I hope to continue in my chosen field and gain further qualifications.
