Changing my career choice to an Embalmer is one of the most rewarding and challenging decisions I have ever made. It was the tragic loss of a close friend that lead me to approach Davis’s and offer myself as a volunteer until an Embalmers position became available. Many of my family members have been nurses and although this line of work interested me, I was keen to do something slightly different. Previously I have trained as a Veterinary Nurse and have also volunteered for the SPCA having a strong interest in animal welfare.

I am honoured to work in the funeral industry and for such a reputable company as Davis Funerals. I take great pride in my work and I think it is something very special to have the opportunity to make families’ loved ones look as lovely as I possibly can, for those last goodbyes.

In my free time I spend as much of it as possible with my family whom I am very close to. I have a beautiful daughter Eden, and we enjoy road trips and visiting family in other parts of the country. I summer we love the West Coast beaches and when possible getting down to the mountain to ski and snowboard.
