I have worked for Davis’s since November 1995 as a permanent part time receptionist at our Pakuranga Branch. Before working here I was fortunate enough to be able to be an at home mum for our four children. I was also a Funeral Celebrant for some years. I still like to officiate at funerals on my days off. I love the people contact and being able to be of assistance to people in a time of stress and need.

For all of my married life I have been a minister’s wife – so have experience in, and love, dealing with people. When I am not doing all this I enjoy cooking and sewing and music.

My husband and I have had several trips overseas. The last trip we spent 4 months looking after an orphanage of 70 children in northern Uganda, while the founder had a break here in New Zealand. That was quite an experience which we wouldn’t have missed, but don’t know if we will be rushing back to repeat.
