Situated in Henderson, our Central Park Drive funeral home serves all districts of West Auckland, South Head and surrounding areas. Our Chapel is located on Central Park Drive, Henderson and offers easy access from all areas being close to the Lincoln Road exit of the North Western motorway.

The Chapel

Our beautifully designed Chapel is completely air conditioned and centrally heated. Provision has been made for audio and DVD recording of services, together with equipment for audio teleconferencing which enables family and friends from outside of Auckland or New Zealand to participate in the funeral service. Facilities for playing music through CD’s, audio tapes or ipods/MP3 players are available, as is the functionality for playing DVD presentations. An electric organ is available and we can arrange the services of a professional organist to play accompanying music if desired.

The Design

The design of our funeral home is specifically aimed at the history of West Auckland, particularly the viticulture of the area and therefore reflects a Tuscan winery appearance. A mini vineyard was planted within the property when it was first built and now produces grapes of the black table “Albany Surprise” variety. A long reflection pool extends from the front of the Chapel and considerable planting of olive trees adds to the ambience. The entire funeral home has level entry so enables easy access for the elderly and those with a disability. Our funeral home is designed for our staff to care for our clients and their families in that very special way necessary during the time of their bereavement.

Reception Lounge

Our spacious airconditioned and centrally heated reception lounge has a wide variety of menus available for the family’s choice, ranging from a simple morning or afternoon tea through to a more substantial selection for a luncheon type reception. Flat screen monitors in the reception lounge allow DVD presentations to be played during this gathering time.

Family Rooms

Three comfortable viewing rooms are available for family and friends to spend time saying goodbye to a loved one in the days leading up to the funeral and before the service. Viewing can take place at any time during business hours, or outside of this time by appointment. If you would like your loved one to return to the family home in the period before the funeral, this may also be arranged.
