The Eco Funeral is quite a new concept and while it can embrace a range of characteristics there are various conditions that will influence final choices. Davis Funerals provides Eco Funeral options including no embalming, alternatives to standard embalming and eco-friendly caskets in plain radiata pine and other sustainable solid timbers. See our range of eco caskets under our Casket Selection. At present there is one eco burial site in Auckland located at Waikumete Cemetery in Waitakere.
